Condolences

Condolence From: Cynthia Boyer
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to my cousin Lillian and family. I will miss Paul's wonderful humor and gentle, strong nature. I'll miss all the fun jokes and emails too.

I will keep in touch with Lillain as I return to visit my family in Michigan every summer.

Condolence From: InSung Oaks and Beverly Lee
Condolence: We loved Paul and our deepest condolences to the Paul Peet’s family. Paul and Lillian Peet have been great friends since 1963 in Rosebush when I was an immigrant boy from Korea and he was our Minister for the Methodist Church. He was active with the youth program and even played a few pick-up basketball games in the Rosebush school. In 1965 we moved to Beal City and within few years later they moved to Clare. We lost contact with them for over two decades as I continued with my schooling and professional career serving our nation. Meanwhile our path crossed again as we returned from West Germany visiting my in-laws, in one faithful Sunday morning to worship our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Harrison, I recognized among the worshippers the familiar face of the beloved minister whom I knew as a young boy in Rosebush. I think the first words I uttered to him as I approach him was “What are you doing here in the Mormon Church, Reverent Peet?” We embraced and enjoyed meeting once again and bonded with him through the subsequent years, and the last day of his mortal existence. I can imagine how event like this is on-going on the other side of the veil in the Paradise. Hours before he returned to our creator, Beverly my wife and I visited Paul and Lillian as their three girls were there at their place in Farwell. We shared our understanding of the God’s Plans of Salvation -“Plan of Happiness” and we sang one of the hymns, “I Need Three Every Hour.” We will miss your loving genuine smiles and will cherish our bonded friendship. Farewell my friend, till we meet again!

Condolence: Memories of your wonderful family and the love that was always there for you...may that bring comfort to you. He is only gone in the physical being, but he gave you strength to carry on when only the spiritual and memories were still alive in your heart. He is always there, but now joins his savior, whom he has long awaited. My deepest sympathy, thoughts and love are with you at this difficult time.
