Obituary for Pete Voydanoff

Pete  Voydanoff
Pete Voydanoff 72 of Harrison and Bullhead City, Arizona, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 29, 2014. Mr. Voydanoff was born January 31, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Lube and Patsy (Dennis)Voydanoff. Mr. Voydanoff was united in marriage to the former Carol A. Bell on April 15, 1967 at St. Davids Church, Detroit.
Mr. Voydanoff retired from Detroit Edison after many years of service. Pete and Carol spent many years wintering in Bullhead City, Arizona and summers in Harrison. Pete was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #287 of Gladwin and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie#3541 of Harrison and the Bullhead City Elks Lodge #2408. Pete was a loyal Democrat, and supported the Democratic Party for many years. In his spare time, Pete enjoyed dancing, listening to rock and roll music, socializing and golfing.
Surviving Mr. Voydanoff is his loving wife of forty seven years, Mrs. Carol A. Voydanoff of Bullhead City and Harrison, one daughter, Julie Sears and husband Lt. Commander Eric W. Sears of Ashburn, Virginia, one son, Paul Voydanoff and wife Rhonda of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, four grandchildren: Lauren, Connor, Payton and Stella, three brothers: Nicholas Voydanoff and wife Sherrie of Knoxville, Tennessee, Fred Voydanoff and George Gomez and son, Sean Gomez of Royal Oak, Michigan, sister in law, Mary Voydanoff of Garden City, Michigan, plus many nieces and nephews. Mr. Voydanoff was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Samuel Voydanoff.
A Celebration of Life memorial service for Pete will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with family and friends officiating. A Loyal Order of Moose service will be conducted under the auspices of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #287 of Gladwin. Friends and family are encouraged to gather on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Memorial gifts in memory of Mr. Voydanoff may be considered to: Voydanoff Family, in care of: Carol A.
