Margaret Ann  Legge (Brown)
Margaret Ann Legge, 89, of Granbury, Texas passed away peacefully at home on January 2nd, 2018. She was born February 9, 1928 in Harrison, Michigan to John Robert and Alice Lucille Brown.
She married her high school sweetheart, William Richard Legge, before he left for the Army during World War II. Together, they raised 5 children. Margaret was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family always came first with her. In the latter years of Margaret’s life, she resided in a senior living community and enjoyed friends, gatherings, playing games, reading and knitting.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband William R. Legge and sister Dorothy Ashcraft. She is survived by her son William D. Legge and wife Beth of Austin, Texas, daughter Lynn Patten and husband Walter of Granbury, Texas, daughter Nanette Cavin and husband Mike of Phoenix, Arizona, daughter Sue Webb and husband Timothy of Austin, Texas, daughter Krista Nix and husband Neal of Garland, Texas, brother John Robert Brown Jr. of Harrison, eight grandchildren; Kelly Risser, Wade Patten, Kimberly Legge, Jacob Cavin, Shea Cavin, Ellen Webb, Emily Webb and Austin Nix, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison. Memorial gifts in memory of Mrs. Legge may be considered to: Dementia Society of America, Post Office Box 600 Doylestown, PA 18901.
