I want to say my CONDOLANCES to the Morse family. It was a very moment when I heard of Jack's passing. Over the years I have had numerous opportunities to interact with this gentle? Calm, open minded educator. Jack was was a natural educator that had the student and learning. Jack was my professor for several classes as I did my course work at Mid. My next interaction with Jack was when I held as an educator for Harrison Community Schools and he was elected to the school board. My next interaction with Jack was after I finished grad school Jack and I worked together in providing opportunity for science education to the teachers of Michigan. The education field lost one it's finest example and/or mentor with the passing of Jack. Bruce Patterson PhD

Our deepest sympathies to Jack’s family. We were students of Jack in 1982. He was without a doubt one of the smartest persons we have ever met. More importantly he was a kind and decent man. We will remember him always. Dan and Terri Cowie

My condolences To the family of Mr. Morse! I had him as a chemistry professor his first year he taught at Mid- 1969. I transferred from Miichigan Tech. At Tech I took chemistry in the first semester of my freshman year, I was able somehow to earn a 2.0, but I didn't have clue! My second semester under Mr. Morse's teaching , he made it understandable! I was able to earn a 3.5. I have often thought of him as one of my best teacher ever and I enjoyed his humor and friendship! Well done good and faithful teacher/ servant! See you some day on the other side!
