As far back as my memories take me, grandpa Ross and I had a wonderful bond; I will miss him tremendously. Grateful is the word I keep thinking to get beyond the sadness of his passing. I'm grateful for the fun-loving grandpa he was. I'm grateful for the long, adventurous life that he had. I'm grateful that my mom (Helen), my stepdad Keith, my big brother Neil and I got to spend his recent 98th birthday with him. The wonderful childhood memories I have with him and Grandma in Unionville make me the most grateful of all. All of the cousins, aunts, and uncles spent many holidays and weekends there. I can still picture Grandpa at the stove next to a mountain of pancakes to feed the large, hungry crowd. He was in his glory spending time with family. There are many, more specific memories that I look forward to sharing with our family this weekend while celebrating his life. Yes, he will be sorely missed, but we can all revel in our special memories with him. Goodbye my beautiful grandpa.

You will be missed "Great Grandpa" Ross. That is what we knew him as because he was the "Great Grandpa" of our Grandchildren and Grandpa of our daughter-in-law. Our condolences, Steve and Tamie Robinson

I have so many nice memories of my Great Uncle.

Harold, in his 70s taking his first ride on a mountain bike while visiting us in England. Or rolling up to our house in the RV with a box full of exotic American snacks and patiently teaching me his favourite recipes. Our royal treatment during visits to the lake in Michigan.

I will always remember Harold as a warm, funny, gregarious man who was special in his ability to connect with everyone he met. We'll miss you Uncle Harold.

My favorite memory of Harold was deep sea fishing in the gulf. On our way out fishing I asked Harold if he wanted something to drink and he asked what was available I told them they had water pipe and beer for Harold to reply was he didn’t want pop to have water he would have to have his whiskey and because it was too early for whiskey he said give me a beer. Harold caught the first fish on the boat. We had a blast! I had a fish fry or 2 with Harold or for Harold. He will good down in history as a wonderful man to know & love! You will be missed, Bill & Erin 💜
