She is home now, and at peace, but Grandma Barb will be greatly missed. I was blessed to have known her and been able to have her with me for the last 10 years. She was sweet, loving, funny, and a little ornery and stubborn when she wanted to be. She loved her students, and they loved her. She loved listening to them read and working with them. They meant the world to her. I can not even begin to count the number of hugs she's given over the last 10 years. She was there for the kids (and adults) when they needed that extra bit of loving. She kept us all in line. There will be a hole in my classroom and in my heart with her not here....

Thank you Susan.

We will sure miss her, I remember her telling about doing pink in her hair and how much the kids at school wanted her to do it again. she was so proud of her family and I pray God gives them strength as the days go by and they try to do everything they have to do and the days ahead as they try to go on without her. Love you sis! Bunny and Joe

I shall miss seeing Grandma Barb's smiling face in her red foster grandparent vest at our school. She would give me a hug and ask how I was doing. She loved it when I'd wear my outfits my daughter got me from the countries she had visited.
I am praying for your family as you mourn your loss of such a wonderful person.

Tammy Lamphier Posted at 01:10pm

Thank you Peggy. She always told us how nice you looked in those outfits. I always liked when her face lit up with happy things to share.
