Matt's huge, constant smile and boundless enthusiasm were really something special.

What I’ll remember most about Matt is his mastery at driving a ski boat. (Usually a Master Craft I think). While I could never figure out how to get up on water skis, I did excel at holding onto a tube.

Matt nicked-named me “King Tube”…said with a huge grin and said more like “Kinnnnnngggggg Tube” Coming from Matt, that was a huge honor.

I’m sure that I provided Matt with a lot of entertainment as he would try to push me to my limit of holding onto the tube. When he failed to shake me off with speed or launching me off of the boats wake, he would sling shot me across the smooth water as fast as he could. I’d usually survive the first few rounds…and then he would really get me. I’d finally lose the challenge and my body would be thrown across the water. He’d circle the boat around, uncontrollably laughing and say “Kinnnnnngggggg Tube”. I loved every minute of it.

Here’s to an endless Summer for you Matt. Love you.
