It has been many years since being with my friend 'Butch'. As they say, 'back in the day', we'd depart 'The Box' after closing and go for pizza, or a good party around Houghton Lake somewhere. Butch was always in the 'know'. One of my best memories was of Labor Day. Sunday night was the last night of 'summer' at 'The Box', and it was also a time to pile in however many cars we could muster, and head for the Mackinaw Bridge walk. I was lucky, I think. Neil always seemed to keep an 'eye' on me, making sure I didn't get into too much trouble. So many good times and memories. ROCK ON 'BUTCH'! I'll always feel privileged and honored to have known ya'!

Neil and his family were very close to our family while we were all growing up. one thing I remember about his family is we were invited every year to go to their property and cut down a tree for Christmas. Neil was always a caring and generous man.
He will be missed.
Condolences to the Anderson family.

Butch was one of my favorite friends. Have known him since he was a lil kid. Butch was funny and crazy too. the last time I saw Butch he came to my home in Lakeland, with his wife, for a visit. What a sweetheart!
To his family and friends, I will keep you in my prayers for the Lord to give you peace in the midst of your loss. God Bless. Bonnie Ulch Shue
