Edward Bernard McDiarmid Sr.

Edward Bernard McDiarmid Sr., 64 of Lake George, Michigan passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Medilodge of Clare. Edward was born December 31, 1955 in Lansing, Michigan the son of Alice McDiarmid.
Mr. McDiarmid had resided many years in Lake George, moving from Harrison. Ed was employed for several years as a Maintenance Supervisor with Cedar Shores Campground Condominium of Harrison and Mystic Lake YMCA Camp of Lake, Michigan. Ed was a loyal fan to NASCAR, where he watched many televised races as well as attending yearly races at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. Ed enjoyed fishing, camping, scuba diving, spending time with his grandchildren, frequenting Cedar Point Amusement Park with his family, as well as yearly vacations to Florida. Ed enjoyed beer and wine crafting and his yearly Labor Day walk across the Mackinaw Bridge.
Surviving Mr. McDiarmid are his two children; Wendy McDiarmid of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and Edward Bernard McDiarmid Jr. of Farwell, Michigan, five grandchildren, one great-grandson, three sisters; Penny Peters of Coleman, Michigan, Tammy Sprague and husband Jeff of Lake City, Michigan and Gina Seger and husband Bill of Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, one brother, Matthew Worden of Eden, Oklahoma, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
