Jerry Lee Coffman Jr. 58 of rural Harrison passed away at his home on Monday, December 14, 2020. Jerry was born November 27, 1962 in Holland, Michigan the son of Jerry Lee Coffman Sr. and Margery Hope (Datema) Coffman. Jerry graduated from Zeeland High School in 1981.
Mr. Coffman was united in marriage to Ms. Brenda Sue Wood on October 11, 2017 in Ionia, Michigan. Jerry had resided in rural Harrison since 2020, moving from Lyons, Michigan. Mr. Coffman enjoyed motorcycling, gun, bow and muzzleloader hunting, gardening, wrenching on vehicles, watching televised movies and football games with his family.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Brenda Coffman of Harrison, his three children; Jerry Lee Coffman III and wife Dawn of Alderson, West Virginia, Andrew Coffman of Lyons, Michigan and Amber Coffman of Alderson, West Virginia, one step-daughter, Natasha Hartman and husband Shane of Harrison, two step-sons; Christopher Sherwood and wife Jennie of Southgate, Michigan and Anthony Sherwood of Harrison, nine grandchildren; Morgan Glover, Sarah Glover, Jarrett Coffman and Samuel Coffman all of Alderson, West Virginia, Jackson Coffman of Lyons, Michigan, Jocelyn Sherwood and Tyler Sherwood both of Southgate, Michigan, Hoyt and Alec Hartman both of Harrison, one sister, Catherine Telgenhof and husband Todd of West Olive, Michigan, one brother, Clint Coffman and wife Becky, step-father, Ken Host of McMillan, Michigan, two step-sisters; Kentrina Arnold and husband Phil of Georgia and Marsha Gibson also of Georgia, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and his beloved dog, Sophie. Mr. Coffman was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lee Coffman Sr. and his mother, Margery Datema-Coffman-Host.
