Carol Ann Clark (York)

Carol Ann Clark 82 of Harrison passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at North Woods Nursing Home, Farwell, Michigan. Carol was born March 23, 1938 in Dearborn, Michigan the daughter of Ervin Albert and Bertha Martha (Lukofsky) York. Carol graduated from Edsel Ford High School in 1956. On February 1, 1964 in Dearborn, Michigan, Carol was united in marriage to Mr. Howard Arthur Clark Sr. Mrs. Clark moved to Harrison in 2002, where she and Howard made their weekend getaway their permanent home.
Mrs. Clark enjoyed bowling, crocheting heirlooms for her family, collecting lighthouses, reading books, especially the monthly Clearing House publications, decorating her home every year for Christmas, cooking, baking, traveling the state of Michigan attending car shows and old engine shows with her husband. She was a fan of NASCAR, Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Lions.
Surviving Carol is her loving husband of fifty-seven years, Mr. Howard Arthur Clark Sr. of Harrison, one daughter, Cindy Tuning of Wixom, Michigan, two sons: Craig Clark of Ortonville, Michigan and Howard “Butch” Clark Jr. and wife Angela of Harrison, five grandchildren; Mason Clark, Marlee Clark, Craig Clark, Kaden Clark, and Colton Clark, one sister, Lois Houck of Waterford, Michigan, many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, one son in-law, C.L. Tuning, three sisters: Lorraine, Norma, and Gloria and one brother, Ervin.
Funeral services honoring Mrs. Clark will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Pastor Timothy Sheridan officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
