Cynthia “Cindy” Lee Herr 63 of rural Harrison passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Clare. Cynthia was born October 21, 1957 in Pontiac, Michigan the daughter of Jackie Dean Hollis and Martha Carol (Fredericks) Hollis. Cindy had resided in Harrison since 1995, moving from Pontiac, Michigan.
Ms. Herr was a member of Apostolic Truth of Jesus Christ Church, Harrison. Cindy enjoyed bowling, people watching, hunting, fishing, taking pontoon rides, caring for her horses, floral gardening, watching crime television shows, her favorite series was Snapped. Cindy was a Detroit Red Wings fan, who rarely missed a televised game.
Surviving Ms. Herr is her daughter, Whitney Herr and (Heather Truxton) of Harrison, mother and step-father, Martha Wardell and Pastor Jerald Wardell of Harrison, three brothers; Jay “Bub” Hollis of Harrison, Mark Wardell of Flint, and Kenneth Wardell of Pontiac, one sister, Trina (Steven) McKenzie of Port Huron, Michigan, one niece, Melissa Murawski, four nephews; Jay Hollis, Carl Hollis, Matthew McKenzie and Michael McKenzie, her Siamese cat, Sparky. Cindy was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Jerald Eugene Wardell II.
