Daniel “Danny” Gerald McKay 58 of Harrison passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at his home. Daniel was born June 19, 1962 in Flint, Michigan the son of Gerald Lee and Patricia Ann (Liles) McKay. Mr. McKay graduated from Holly High School in 1980. Danny was united in marriage to Ms. Cara Wise on June 5, 1994 in Fenton, Michigan.
Mr. McKay had resided in Harrison since 2018, moving from Holly, Michigan. He enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, boating on his ski boat, camping and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving Danny is his loving wife of twenty-six years, Mrs. Cara McKay of Harrison, two daughters; Amanda McKay and Breonna Keeble,his father, Gerald Lee McKay of Holly, two sisters; Melody McKay and Melissa McKay, one brother, Terry McKay, many nieces, nephews, extended family members and the “love of his life”, Molly, his fur baby. Danny was preceded in death by his mother.
