Updating when possible:
The funeral service/celebration of life for my Dad (James A. Piwowar Sr.) is going to be Saturday August 28th at 1pm. The venue is NewLife Community Church. 7235 Torrey Rd Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Luncheon to follow will be announced at the memorial service. It may be unorthodox but if you can please let me or my mom know if you plan on attending maybe so we can get a better idea for planning purposes somehow etc. We’re doing what we can! Burial service will be Friday September 3rd at 1pm-Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, MI. No flowers or plant a tree option please, I think that’s pretty much taken care of and or not what he wanted. I do want to plant some apple trees in remembrance instead, if you want to be a part of that in the future too!
Contact my Mom for any other details.

Jim, God has taken you away from me. I know this was meant to be. Your in heaven when the light beamed down , and took you to the pearly gates this was your fate. God has a plan everyday even though it is so hard when you have to go away. We will all be hurting now as our love and memories for you will never fade. Our heart's will ache and time will pass we will never forget your love that will last. Love You

There are so many memories that keep popping into my head but I keep replaying the time I begged my Dad to take me on his motorcycle for a ride to go see our horse at the trainer. He said he thought it was supposed to start storming out..but I kept asking to go so we did. On the way there we got stuck in a monsoon of a rainstorm. We were absolutely drenched and all over the road and could not just pull over. I was a teenager and giggling like a little kid on the back with him. He just shook his head and I just thought it was the time of my life. He would let me go take his motorcycle out for some rides up and down the sand road and just said be careful to go slow and do not dump it. Well I thought I would show him that I was such a good rider and that it would be no big deal. I eventually wiped out and dumped it after getting over confident and going faster. I then found out just how heavy it was to try and pick his bike back up on my own. I finally got it back up somehow after struggling forever it seemed but was just praying that his motorcycle was not damaged after the wipe out for my own sake ha. I told him about it and thought the worse case scenario in my head but he never said a word and just laughed and he was more worried that I was ok and concerned for my safety as always.
